M&E Engineer
Factory Construction & M&E Works — Multiple Project Sites

About the Role
As a M&E Engineer at HMI Technology Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in supporting and executing factory-based technical projects. This is not just a supervision role — you are expected to be involved on-site and occasionally hands-on when required. The role is ideal for candidates who want to grow in the factory construction industry and gain exposure to both engineering coordination and technical execution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise and coordinate on-site activities and subcontractor work
- Support installation, maintenance, and testing of factory equipment and systems
- Assist in civil, M&E, and electrical coordination at project sites
- Monitor project progress and ensure tasks meet safety and quality standards
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machine or wiring issues when needed
- Conduct site inspections and enforce safety compliance
- Liaise with workers, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth communication
- Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD and review M&E drawings
- Be involved in hands-on site work when required (not only supervision)
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in factory construction or technical site work
- Experience in civil, M&E, or electrical works
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Hands-on, proactive, and willing to work on-site
- Good understanding of safety standards and site compliance
- Willing to travel or relocate for project assignments (company transport provided)
- Valid Malaysian driving licence

- • Site Safety Supervisor licence
- • Wireman Nil PW4 Licence
- • Understanding of Chinese language
